How much do magazine drives make the schools they service?

Just wondering how much money schools make from magazine drives.

practically nothing
less than $1 / subscription on average
support your local schools with a direct cash donation to the parent teacher group or
to your childs teacher
$20 goes a lot further that way
If you have a preference they can earmark it for a particular project.
