Our school is making a magazine for 7th graders. Ideas?

Music, teen idols, advice column, sports (professional scores, trades, etc). Quick after school snack recipes. Good luck.

I’ve been asked to create a specific craft project for a small magazine published in NY. They have told me exactly what they want and I am to provide the item for a photo shoot along with written instructions. I have an idea of what to charge for the project but would like to know what freelance writers are charging for magazine work on a per word basis.

it is different for every magazine. check a copy of a current writers market book & check for new york. hope that helps!

I am currently studying graphic design at university and I would like to start reading a good graphic design magazine.

I’ve heard that wallpaper and print are good? I would ideally like something that shows up and coming graphic designs/designers.

All input appreciated, many thanks

I love Computer Arts, it is more based on illustration within Graphic design but it is inspiring and comes with tutorials, has your uni not got a magazine selection for students, most good unis will have and if they havent I would have a word with your tutor as there should be funding available for literature
